A cast iron mantle  clock  by  the Ansonia  Clock  Co  New York.

When  purchased the clock  was  complete   but  exterior  appearance poor   with extensive  rust and  chipping  of  the paintwork. The  clock  has  been  taken  to  pieces  and re-sprayed  and  the  gold  pattern repainted

The  movement  has  been  dismantled , cleaned , oiled  and reassembled.

The  clock  is now running well  and  being of very  heavy  iron  strikes  with a beautiful deep  sound.
