An Ansonia slate clock with Brocot open escapement.
The clock appears in generally good condition other than the problem with the pallet stones as described below.
The main problem with this clock is that both the pallet stones (arrowed) were snapped off.They are very small 2mm in diameter .I have made temporary ones while awaiting new steel replacements.Setting them up will be a major challenge.
Update - I decided to go for the more attractive red pallet stones. These have been fitted using shellac to fix in place.
